Feb 25, 2014: Launch Day!
This is the beginning of a new era for the Collegiate Space Academy. A truly authentic, student driven experience is what we witnessed on Tuesday. Despite a few technical glitches it went well. It certainly was different from past missions and the students embraced the challenge of doing something new. I loved the fact that each student had a very real, tangible part of the mission.
There is still much to be done for future missions but Orion Flight Teams (OFT) 1-4 were a success. Check out the story that ran on KWCH 12 about our mission:
